For those of you who heave not already heard, The Pharmacist, Steve Gasper, 26, from Atlanta died on Monday the 8th September. The funeral was held thursday 11th.
I have seen his obituary and this is not a hoax.
Pharmacist was a knowledgable Moderator here at Rorta, and i will miss his posts although sometimes a little incoherent.
We don't know his exact cause of death yet, however we expect a drug overdose.
Cheers Pharm RIP.
Signed... T. Wedd

He was one of the most knowledgable people in his field that I have ever met on the internet. He was a great asset to Rorta, and I'm sure he will be missed by all.

Son of a bitch, what a big loss indeed. Drug overdose was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this .

Yes i assume it was a drug overdose, although i can't confirm or deny it. Last time i spoke with him he wasn't very coherent what so ever.
Also i assume it was accidental and not suicide. He left no posts, notes or E-mails to anyone he knew to my knowledge telling them he was going to overdose.
Again this is only an assumption. If i find out anything further i will post it here.

As a friend of pharm, both at &TOTSE and at his Pharmaecopia, I know what a loss this must be to your community as well. Just so you know, we're trying our best to find out what happened, so that we can have at least some sense of closure in knowing what took our friend. I had a short conversation with his sister tonight. She (and the rest of his family, presumably) acknowledge the time he spent online, and feel that we all deserve to know the truth. They don't know the exact cause of death at the moment, but she did promise to contact me when they know more. You can find the entire log of the conversation at the Pharmaecopia, here: pharmacist2.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1063584108I'll try to keep you all updated.

Thankyou Theta, passing the information on here it is much appreciated by me and all the members here at Rorta. Pharm will be greatly missed by quite a few communities and it's members. He was a great guy, and a great Moderator of this forum. One of our members Janke had a brief conversation with his sister, however there isn't much more new information then what you all ready know. The post is in the General Board <Here>Again, thanks for the update. Signed... T. Wedd

Actually either Meta or Theta found the listing in the Atlanta Journal.
I knew his first name, his age and his location was Atlanta. Also a few others knew more pieces of information about him.
When his posts last posts were incoherent, then he vanished from a few communities he frequented, we assumed the worst. Unfortunately the assumptions were correct.

Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! We could heard his laughter, as he told us drug recipes, He was a legend for his knowledge Truly Pharmacist was a martyr to the drug world.
