HELP!

I have a problem...
This started about two weeks ago, but then it seemed that the problem had either resolved itself or I had fixed it... but last night the little fuck reappeared.
The little fuck is a small Windows XP Dialogue box which informs me that there has been a Remote Control Protocol (I think) Error and that I have exactly one minute to finish everything I'm doing before the system restarts. Once this box is up, there is no way to stop the countdown and the computer will restart after one minute.
This only happens when I am connected to the internet. A few weeks ago, when this started, I mentioned the problem to a friend and he said it could have something to do with the copy of Logomanager which I had cracked on my system, so I removed all traces of it and the registry entry. I also installed a firewall rather than just using the inbuilt XP firewall. This seemed to fix the problem, but no...
Does anyone have any ideas? Is it likely to be something to do with cracked software? The only other piece of software which I have, cracked, on my system at the moment is Adobe Photoshop 7 (I think...) but I dont want to delete it!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Doctor D, This problem is due to a worm that also infected my system. I suggest that you go to google.com and search for a program called fixblast.exe it removes the worm and all its regitstry keys. After running the program, go to microsoft.com to download the latest patch for the security hole.

Yeah, thanks janke. My boss actually told me about this yesterday, although this is the first chance I have had at my computer... Now I'm pissed because I deleted nearly 10GB of shit from my computer... oh well.

DD, I don't know how to fix it so it's a good thing that guy did. But I can tell you I've had that problem once before and I didn't change nothing and nothing happened afterwards.
And I have a cracked photoshop 6 on my comp, too.

All you need to do is download the patch from the microsoft download website and then delete the file from the windows/system32 directory. The file should be called msblast.exe. You need to stop the msblast.exe process before you will be able to remove the file totally. After this just make sure you have a firewall to stop anything else getting into your system.
