MUAHAHHA I got $910 from rayovac yesterday!!! i complained that their batteries screwed up my appliances. They just sent you a check for $910? What proof did you have to show?? What did you say happened to your appliances?? Small complaint letters I can see, but $900+?? That seems a little hard to swallow.... --KBS

Okay this is what I said: I told rayovac that I used their Maximum Plus Alkalines for my two very expensive $400 remote controlled cars. The day of the race I put in 10 of their batteries......they started foaming......next day it rusted onto wires and transmission. I wanted compensation for both and a refund for 10 fifteen packs of their batteries and a "$40 dollar entrance fee"

Wow.......cool I assume they sent an "I'm sorry" letter with it or something, right?? What did they say in it?? Also, do you have a copy of your original letter?? I'd love to see that as well.... This is a skill worth learning, obviously --KBS

yah i did, I got a gift certificate to ecko watches online store here is the letter to ecko watches:
Two weeks ago I purchased the Bricktop watch style #E15000G1. When first seeing it on your site I was eager to acquire it as my own entranced by its sleek design. After ordering the watch all I could do was wait for its arrival. When the package came I was sadly disappointed, the glass cover had been cracked through the shipping process. I let this bypass as I had been waiting for its arrival for quite some time and wore it on a daily basis. A few days later I went for a swim but in the end was shocked by another crisis. The dials had stopped running basically giving me the impression that the watch was not functioning. Bringing it to a shop for repairs the employee informed me that the watch was lucky to have lasted so long. He claimed that the watch was poorly constructed together and due to water damage would be impossible to fix. The cost for the replacement parts would come up with a total amount almost equal to the purchase price.
With the end result I was not given much of a choice except to purchase a new watch. I am sadly disappointed with the condition and quality of your merchandise and demand an explanation. I will not charge your company for the fact of wasted time but I would appreciate a money-back guarantee.
I would like a response by email before July 29 2003. And a check payable to: me at my addie for the amount of $150.
Thank you! me >janke>

I'm about to write a genuine complaint letter . You see, a lot of DVDs dont' work quite right on my PS2. I can watch them, but every once in a while (and sometimes these happen REALLY often) it'll just skip forward a bit. Usually it's only half of a word, but sometimes it's up to five minutes of time. Doing a "Search" (rewind), if I can get it into the period of time that was skipped, it'll play normally. My cousin's PS2 has the same problem. So, I'm gonna write a complaint letter 'bout that. Don't know if they'll do anything to appease me, but they might. The aforementioned cousin fried part of his PS2, and they refurbished his system, and gave him a free controller and memory card.

Okay, I would like everybody that is reading this thread to complain about the same thing here is my most recent letter to M&M's.
Harrison Chao *MY ADDIE*
Hello, I am the vice principal of San Diego Chinese Academy. Recently the SDCA had a Summer Festival which is an annual festival where we have games, contests, booths and prizes. I was responsible for buying the prizes so I went to my local Costco in Poway last saturday July 26, 2003 and I purchased four 48-packs of M&M's Milk Chocolate Candies for $128.79. I remember that I stored the four boxes in a cool dry area to prevent melting. However, on sunday July 27, 2003, the day of the festival, I distributed the candies in the boxes to separate booths. Near the end of the festival at around 6 o'clock many students went to the booth mom's and told them that the M&M's had irregular shapes. One of the booth mom's then told me to look at these M&M's. I was VERY suprised to see that some of the M&M's did not even have a coat of color on them, and the candies that had color on them were connected to other candies which formed a big blob of chocolate. I was deeply dissapointed and EMBARASSED, I told them not to worry about it and that I had just purchased them yesterday. Two days later, one student's mother called me at my house and told me that her child John Gu was vomitting uncontrolably and that they had gone to the doctor's and the doctor, Doctor Lipp, told them that this was definitley a cause of FOOD POISONING. I apologized to the mother and told her I was going to contact M&M's. Days later, many students, possibly 30 students, called my house and complained of nausea and non stop vomitting.
I, Harrison Chao, and the San Diego Chinese Academy will disregard the time and money spent on examinations and only request a check for the refund of the purchase of the candy. I would like M&M's to send a check payable to: Harrison Chao *MY ADDIE* for the amount of: $128.79 Again, I am deeply dissatisfied as I have been a long time customer from the early 80's of M&M's. I wish that this will not happen again and I regret the fact that I do not trust M&M's as a producer of clean, top-notch candies.
I would like a response by email before August 2, 2003. And I would like the check before August 2, 2003.
Dissapointed, Harrison Chao

Nice, creative . But, no offense, I suggest running spell check next time...people tend to perceive you as being "professional" when you have correct spelling, grammar, et cetera.
