You're mixing Christianity with...well, all the religions that cast Lillith as "Queen of Darkness muhaha." IIRC, the Bible never mentioned her because she didn't really do a whole lot in straight-up Christian mythology. Yet for some odd reason my dad found the description about the wife before eve in the bible. maybe i should have a look at it. Anyway, on about atheism. It seems that sometimes it is hard NOT to be an atheist. As, if you look around and see how the churches have treated everyone over the centuries, and how shitty the world is today. It's almost reasonable not to believei n a god.

Anyway, I am personally not an atheist. But I am antichurch. Anyone here merely antichurch? Afterall, why should i support an organization who has murdered millions over the centuries for stupid reasons and held back human advancement by at least 1000 years. Just think of where we could be today if the church didn't keep up stupid until the 1500s.

Anyway, I am personally not an atheist. But I am antichurch. Jesus didn't like organized religion. Of course, the papal burned the documents wherein he stated that...

The church covered up a lot of stuff about the bible. Anything and everything was basicaly watered down, diluted, and butchered. Stupid translations . Plus the priests are always yelling about how sex is a sin blah blah blah. But they don't stop and realize that there is a lot of sexual material. There is a portion of the book where King Solomon essentially describes his perfect woman. Then again, he had 300 wives and 700 concubines, so he must have been around quite a bit .

Funny that he's one of the biblical characters you're supposed to look up to .

Well hes Physically in great shape (a bit on the lean side) Special moves include quoting various psalms from "The Good Book" and throwing shurukin-like crucifixes. Back on topic I know peope find alot of what the church has done over the years atrocious but it is bringing people Hope too. Its their decision to believe what they are told. We cant criticise them for it.

I believe that ignorance is bliss. I was much happier when I believed that there was something greater than myself watching over me...but then I just realised one day that if I wrote a realistic book about a weird religion no one knew about and I called myself god..and I got one person to believe me and they had tons of children that they taought to believe me too, and after 2000 years I would probably have a statue of myself and "MB" churches everywhere just like any other religon. I came to realise religion is just a tool man uses to make themselves feel better and assuage their fears of death. I thought about death and then I asked myself the question...What happens when I die? and the answer came into my head "The same thing that happened before I was born". It makes sence to me, and I am in a current depression becuase of it. Just because billions of people believe something does not mean that it is true. It means that all of them believe it. Two billion people can all be wrong, just as one person can.
I wish that I could believe in God again, I truly wish I could, it would assuage my fears and I quote "Ignorance is bliss" and I truly knew what it ment. But the simple fact remains that I can't and I can't let my children believe in God because....he doesn't exist. This is one of my favorate quotes
"Stop believing in God, he's not gonna save your mortal ass. Start believing in yourself."

Anyway, Christianity is a safehouse for hypocrites. I also agree people can believe what they want to, but the Christian church doesn't. The Crusades: "Convert or we'll kill your ass." Today: "Convert or we'll hound you non-stop with free magazines, Bible companions, and other annoying bullshit." Oh, and does anyone remember that incident a few years back when the Jewish kid was tricked into converting to Christianity at a church gathering he was invited to by a friend? And, yes, hope is a good thing. I just don't think that that outweighs the atrocious evils committed by the Christian community (or specific offshoots of said community) throughout history, especially when you stop to consider that most other religions didn't build their churches on a foundation of evil.

Most religions have not been built on a foundation of evil. But their true colors show when you expose how greedy the catholic church d00ds really are. [Conspiriacy Theory] The christian community's greatest act of evil is supposedly yet to come. Apparently the antichrist is the jesuit general. Whose name is Hans von Kolvenback, it's Dutch.[/Conspiracy Theory].
