does anyone here have any ideas on making items such as test tubes pipetes distillers all the equitment handy to have in a lab

If you take apart a light bulb you can use it as a flask. Different sizes such as outdoor floodlights...commercial sized sodium vapor...work for different stuff.

Just buy it. Improvising the most basic glassware items is a death sentence to a chemistry career in the basement. Look for surplus stores if you're cheap.

or just take small amounts from your school chemistry lab over a period of time... you would be surprised how much goes unnoticed.
