[glow=green,2,300]this is a sweet bomb ( i think at least) what you do is find a shit load of strike anywhere matches and rip off all the heads, then you gotta open a small hole in the tennis ball and drop in the match heads. then tape it up and throw the ball..when hitting the ground this will cause the match heads to collide and strike each other causing a huge flame and explosion[/glow]

That is probably the only thing from the ACB that works.

So old my friends....So old... Making a hole in a tennis ball is a bitch . Don't try it with a knife because you'll be there all day.

You have a point to that it is really hard.. but i used to make tennis bombs a different way and when i made a hole in it, i did it by shoving in a thick nail (easy) and then take something to strech it out a little ( harder)

Strike anywhere matches are awesome. In the USA, where can you get them? All I see are those stupid safety matches. Is there a site that ships them to you? Any replies are greatly appreciated.

you should be able to by strike anywhere matches at your local pharmacy/convenient store, check the matches that they have in stock, even though it doesn't say on the match box, check the match strike heads, if they are blue, then they are strike anywhere, red and white are box strike only

Try camping supply stores for all-weather matches...

I personally have never done this simply because I have always thought of these devices as "k3wl". I do know that unless you have packed so many match heads into the ball that it's hard and would be dangerous to drop, then it will most likely act as an unguided and unbalanced rocket unless you throw it hard enough to throw out your arm.
There are also voids in between the match heads that could be filled with a chlorate/ sugar mix or flash to improve performance, but I still find these "bomz"too k3wl for me to spend the time making one.
Also, I have seen both red/ white and blue/ darker blue strike anywhere matches. The blue ones are more of a pain in the ass to ignite, and they have a weaker, lower temperature initial flame than the red/ white ones.
Strike anywhere matches, while still common in some places in the US, are still getting harder and harder to find in more populated ares in the US simply because of devices like these, and because of the fact that an individual can simply turn them into a simple "trip" friction igniter.
Edit: You said "causing a huge flame and explosion". A more loud, forceful, and all around more impressive explosion could likely be made from 2g of simple 70:30 perchlorate/ aluminum flash inside a paper casing. A simple triangle salute would end up being cheaper in the end anyway.

A small strip of fine grit sandpaper in the middle of all the match heads helps it ignite better.
Also, please don't call all explosive devices "bombs". Calling it a bomb implies that it is designed to hurt people, which(I hope) you don't want to do.

Mr. Pain...you are just an overflowing fountain of knowledge arent you? heh heh heh
