I'm kinda afraid to say this to the assistant administrator, but...
Would it kill you to do a search?

well.... the explosing toiletpaper thread is all about nitrocellulose but ill give you the skinney on it anyway.
Its used in gun propellants when mixed with SMALL amounts of nitroglycerin or when mixed with small amounts of acetone and water, its used in big bore guns like those found on battle ships, its used as a military rocket propellant when mixed with nitroglycerin, its used to mine when mixed with large amounts of nitroglycerin (because the nitroglycerin melts the nitrocellulose and turns it into a jelly) when its mixed with large amounts of acetone it forms a jelly which would be known commonly as nitrocellulose laquer, i use this to start campfires its used as a filler in some kinds of nitroglycerin lacking dynamites, its used in fireworks.
