Well, PS2 is PS1 /and/ PS2, so I'll have to go with that. If the PS2 wasn't backwards compatible, I'd probably go SNES.

Between those given choices, I'll have to go with PS2. As it has the largest concentration of decent games. And it is not crapped out by microsoft. Normally I would go with option 9: PC.

The question was: What is your favorate gaming system?
That covers Video and Computer Games.

Video games. Not computer games . There /is/ a difference. See computer games still count as video games. As they both still run on a computer. Albeit consoles are just a low-tech version of a PC strictly for gaming.

It's just released and it basically does away with the hand controller totally. You are actually in the game and requires physical movement to control everything. Trippy shit, you have to try it. There is about 6 games but i have only seen 2, soccer and boxing. I found a link... :Click Here:

I've seen pictures of the magic eye being used with Tekken. It looks amazing.

There are 2 more software packs coming for the Sony Eye Toy soon enough. A dance related 1 and a Sports themed 1. I personally think its a fad that will wear off I mean how seriousslt can a person take such a device. Can you imagine playing Smackdown with the thing. Youll end up looking like Christopher Reeves after falling out of his chair.

That kind of stuff has been done before...I believe the Genesis and SNES both had one. Probably nowhere near as good, though .

I have little games like that which came with my web-cam...
I do not like playing football (soccer), however I can play it on my PS2. Now Sony wants ME to do the work, rather than the controller? Well FUCK THAT! I enjoy the sitting on my sofa for 3 hours at a time watching MGS2: Substance codec scenes aspect of video gaming... if I wanted to move, I would play sports (or maybe jack-off)
As I'm sure most of us are aware, ROMs are proving quite difficult to aquire on the internet... especially for Nintendo systems. So how about we create a FTP, to which we can all upload our ROMs, and share with fellow Rortians?
My list is quite small at the minute, because I discovered the FORMAT command in DOS. Maybe 4 or 5 N64, 20ish SNES, 50-150 GB(A).

ROMS are illegal, and the Rorta would be shut down or at least in serious trouble if we hosted them here.
Most hosts won't host them either.
I've started a new topic though in which you can post links to any good ROM sites.
