seriously, he makes posts i wouldnt dream a 14 year old could make. his political discussions (i dont know if he has any other) are ALWAYS communistic views and one sided, but they are extremely intelligent none the less. i hope that with age, openmindedness will follow (however i doubt it will).

My point is why in the hell is a fourteen year old worried about communistic viewpoints. When I was fourteen all I wanted to do was play SNES and footy. Can it be healthy for ,I mean no disrespect to the guy when I say this,a child to be concerned with such issues?

Verily I doth ph33r Vlad. Back to topic though, do you think the reason there is so much youth-dependence on state altering substances because we're worrying about things at a younger age??

Perhaps the reason why that kids are worried about such issues as communism and politivcs is because of the internet, and the fact that current events seem to hit kids more than ever before. Before the internet, kids were happy to play SNES and smoke pot because they did not know what was really going on in the world. The internet allows people to access BBSs such as Rorta and totse, and other websites, and find out what other people have tio say from around the world.
The internet has made many kids less ignorant to what goes on in the world today. As a result since they know more, they may mature faster/ be concerned at an earlier age because the internet has allowed them to have a better grasp of world events at an earlier age.

Good point. Thing is though, none of us can say how exactly this sped-up maturation period (dont ask where that came from) will affect us as a race. Any thoughts?

I don't know where that sped up maturation period came from, or how it came to be, but if it did happen, I think it would mean that well, not only do we have teen mothers, but now we have like child mothers. Maybe people will be shorter in general as well because since they mature faster, and they are shorter in height when it kicks in, they would end up being shorter in stature? Either that or it means we have 6 foot tall 12 year olds popping up everywhere.

According to researchers, humans physical evolution is making us taller, weaker and balder. Of course this is happening over a looooong period of time.

[triumphant return]
Chronological age is the Great Irrelevancy. For example, I got published for the first time at 13, and I started college when I was 15, with an extremely high amount of credits and several honors classes (and I'm still getting straight As, but grades are nearly as irrelevant as age). A few people I met online when I was 13 or 14 thought I was 18, 28, and one person even thought I was 40. The point is, well, stated in the first sentence.
[/triumphant return]
And for anyone who was wondering, I haven't been around lately because of an unfortunate mishap involving repairs and my gorgeous little piece of shit computer that always needs repairs because like a jackass I abuse it too much.
