Ok.. sometime by the end of this year I want to create a vest with lots of built in anti-personnel devices (I guess it was kinda inspired when I watched 'The Tuxedo' a few months ago.. hated the movie but the idea stuck).
What I'm thinking of is a dark, loose and baggy jacket. Inside the jacket are
2x Concussion Grenades (For blasting debris/locked-doors etc. Probably MEKP soaked in sawdust or tissue paper or something. Not sure yet)
2x Incendiary Grenades (Thermite filled, with a KMnO4 ignitor)
2x Stun Grenades (For blinding and disoreintating people, see my post in explosives for more)
Small Single-use Flare Gun (If it fits while still remaining concealable)
Remote Detonator (Hidden on the left wrist for grenades)
Low-powered Shock Taser (On the right wrist for close-quarters combat)
Low-range Flamethrower (See pic below)
2x EMP Grenades WOULD be an awesome addition, but I lack the technical expertise to even make a decent non-portable one, so I think I'll just scrap this idea.
[/ul]
The grenades themselves are in small canisters roughly about 10cm in length and 3-4 in diameter. They contain an electric detonator and a rf board for remote detonation via the wrist transmitter.
Now, for the question - If I ripped the rf equipment from about 9 walkie talkies and hooked the speaker wire up to the detonator, would it work?
Example, I take the smoke grenade from my inside left pocket. I flip the 'Arm' switch and throw it about 20 meters away. At the same time I activate the 'on' button on my wrist, and thumb the 'det' switch. It broadcasts the walkie talkie signal which gets picked up by the grenades and current passes through the speaker/det wire.
Now, the main questions.
1) If I get nine walkie talkies of the same brand/make, would they all be on the same frequencies, and if not can I change it so they are?
2) How much of a danger is there about intereference?
Will the general background static of the walkie talkies cause enough current to set off the detonator? (I sure bloody hope not)
3) Can you see any problems in my design so far?
NOTE: I am not a terrorist, but I do enjoy fiddiling with dangerous devices that could be used as such. However, the devices that I use are all designed for entirely non-lethal purposes (I suppose the conc. grenades could be used to kill, but they are not designed to be or I would have includedfragmentation, etc)
Thanks, Shadow
