T. Wedd, this might belong in another forum, but it seems to apply here a good amount, so...just move it if you want it elsewhere, I guess.
Anyway, I'm wondering...is this forum going to be "flushed?" I don't like the idea of flushing the other forums...I'm kind of an ancient-thread-phile...but this one is, well, worthless, so will the threads get tossed after a certain period?

They most likely will to save bandwidth space and all the other site mumbojumbo to keep the site functioning. Unless the threads are archived. But this is just speculation.

In any case, I might end up saving dumped material, for posterity. I'm weird like that.

I think the term you are refering to is, thread pruning.
Well the answer is No.
That is not unless the board starts acting strange due to excessive bandwidth usage. I know the board can handle 300,000 posts no problems.
If it does cause problems, i will delete the oldest posts from here first, then the oldest and most meaningless topics from other forums.
If it does come to doing this, i will make an announcement before hand, and also look at archiving posibilities.
Signed... T. Wedd
