Fight Club is a movie all must see. It changes your outlook on life. Excellent casting include Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.
It is about an insomniac slowly going crazy through lack of sleep, until he subconsciously finds a way out...
I would give this movie an A+ because it has hidden meanings also, and because it completely changes how you look at things.

Watched the film? Time to read the book!
I have had this film on DVD for quite a long time, and it was one of my favourites. I purchased the book a month or so ago, and read the whole thing in less than 2 days, I just couldn't put it down. Once you have read the book, the film is a dissapointment... it may sound unbelievable, but you have to get the book.
If you have not yet seen the film, make sure you watch it before you read the book. The depth and detail which the book goes into tells the story a lot better, but watching the film after could be confusing to some extent. There is a lot left out of the film for obvious reasons when you're reading.

I started the book, then I forgot about it. I will go back though.

8 Mile is quite good as well. It gives a good insite in to Eminem's life that i wasn't fully aware of. His lyrics tell alot of the story, and it's the type of movies where the more you watch it the more you pick up. However the ending is very abrupt, theres not much lead up to the end. Just snap and it's over. Anyhow i better not derail this topic too much or Way2Drunk might lock it one me.

Nah, I wouldn't do that. I LIKE being a mod. T. Wedd, why don't you write a review on 8 mile, I mean, you obviously liked it, so tell us all about it.

[EDITED By Stone]: Do NOT post spoilers for movies! Just because you have seen the film doesn't mean everybody else has. You just could have spoiled one of the greatest stories ever told.

I'm not sure if that post was a spoiler for someone who has not seen/read Fight Club, or if it was just plain confusing...

If you want to see Fight Club, don't waste money on renting it. Just use Kazaa to download it, becuase it is the only good resolution complete film that kazaa has in my opinion. 8-mile was a good movie, but the dialog was completely fake. During his rap the dialog was great, but when he was just talking to people he sounded completely stupid. Thats just my opinion though.

Not everybody has a High-Speed connection. Kazaa is useless for movies if you are on a Dial-Up.

that is why i love cable...sometimes even a movie can still take long if downloaded off the internet with cable so with dial-up it would be slow as hell.

I hadn't thought of that. How do you dial-up people do it? *Shudders*.
I guess that you could get your good friend who does have dial-up to burn it using nero. Or pop the three bucks out of your pocet (maybe more blockbuster fucks you on return fees) and get the movie rented.
