Personally, my favorite author would have to be Anne McCaffery or Orson Scott Card. Both have awesome books.
What are your favorite authors?

My favorite author? I don't really have a favorite nonfiction author. My favorite fiction author is J.R.R. Tolkien, because he is the only good one I can think of right now.

Jean M Auel has written a great series of 5 books. I hardly read fiction books, but this lot was brilliant.
In the series is...
Clan of the cave bear. Valley of the horses. The mammoth hunters. The plains of passage. Shleters of stone.
Anyone else read any of these?

yeah i heard of these, my aunty ownes them but i just haven't got around to reading them yet Just read the first one, then i can nearly guarantee you will read the other 4. It's rare that i will read a fiction book, but i couldn't put these down. I read the series of 4 books in about 2 weeks, then had to wait what seemed like forever for the 5th to be published.

Some of his latest books are not even about the law. 'The Painted House' for example. IMO it is his best book yet.
