It's a British B horror (zombie, duh) movie done in the style of a documentary (kind of). It's messed up. It's cooooooool.
Basically, it's about a college student that gets bit by a zombie in the woods. Of course, he becomes a zombie, but he isn't the conventional "BRAAAAAINS! AAAAAAARGH!!!" zombie, he retains most of his intellect and personality. He makes an audio diary of his descent into depravity, murder, and decay.
It has pretty good makeup effects. Near the end of the movie, our quasi-protagonist is pretty damn decayed. The people he eats turn out looking pretty cool, too.
It has decent pacing, drama, et cetera. It's a pretty good movie. I give it a B.
But, by far, the best thing in the movie is one single moment near the end. If you really want to know, here it is (note that I don't suggest you read this, watch the movie instead):
SPOILER WARNING
He literally jerks off. Masturbation + decayed flesh = OUCH.

Telling from the description, this movie is much more of a comedy than a horror movie. A zombie for a main character ummm, eating others? Yeah that sounds quite comical. Hence that is why it's a B movie.

Hence that is why it's a B movie. Not really comical at all, except for that part. Like I said, he's not all "grrr...argh" and stuff. For most of the movie, he looks pretty normal (using makeup to cover the decay and stuff), and for the whole thing he thinks like a human, mostly. You just have to see it.

I just have this to say. GAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to find a better way to spell that. For those of you not in the proverbial know, it's one of Dr. Frink's "sayings" from the Simpsons. Bahoi!
