Behold, we have witnessed the arrival of The Matrix: Reloaded on DVD in the UK.
I remember watching this in the cinema when it first came out and although I did enjoy the film, I felt sort of strange when I came out of the cinema... Was that a film? Where's the rest? Why is it "To be continued?" I want to see the rest!
Reloaded takes The Matrix to a new level, introducing Zion and many new characters, and I'm sure when Ressurection is out, and both of the latter two are played back-to-back, it will be an awesome piece of film-making, but I'm not sure if it really lives up to the original film and the idea.
Towards the end of Reloaded, things just seem a bit silly, as if the writers were grasping at straws, although this is simply my personal opinion and everyone else may think it is all pure genious.
But Reloaded is definitely a watchable, eye-catching movie and most people should enjoy it as much, if not more, than I did. Hopefully Ressurection sets off the trilogy.

Well I shall be the first to reply to this. For starters in the states the third movie is called Matrix Revolutions. And to generate conversation, it was originally a trilogy, from my understanding, the whole thing was written and they broke it up to three movies, Matrix, Matrix Reloaded, and Matrix Revolutions. Also the woman who played the oracle died before the production was complete, but she finished all her parts and she will still be in the third. Freaky but I think she would of wanted it that way.

Empire Strikes Back didn't seem like a "complete" movie to many people, you know. For me, they both seemed fine. Reloaded, IMO, is one of the best films of all time. I can't wait for the next one.

It's probably called Revolutions here too... I knew it began with R.

That doesn't make any sense, and not just because it lacks correct punctuation . Xaroc and I just watched Reloaded again last night. It sucks on a tiny computer screen, when you compare it to the big screen theater we first saw it in.
