I was watching TechTV last night and the mysterious Planet X came into the conversation and I was completely lost on a few things. If planet X is farther then Pluto how could it crash into earth and destroy us all? Next How come we can’t find it?
I am so lost in this whole thing I just have to know about it.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Planet X is supposed to have an extremely eliptical orbit, it's not actually suppose to crash into Earth, but come very close to it. It also supposedly has something like a 3600 year orbital period, so it only comes by every now and then. I have no clue why we can't find it, I believe there is evidence of some kind of large body beyond Neptune and Uranus that is preturbing their orbits somewhat. I am unsure of the credibility of this statement. I am personally skeptical of the whole planet X thing. It may be possible that there is a planet X in our solar system, but the thing was supposed to go by in May, and then June, and then August. Of ocurse nothing ever materialized from those people that claimed it would kill us all. So it may be best to take that part of the planet X thing with a grain of salt, so to speak.

It was suposed to be effecting the planets orbit and rotation because it was so big. I see nothing to give this evidence light.

From what I know, Planet X is just a BIG comet in orbit of our sun that they thought was a planet.
