What is your favortie era in music? Like, I love the 80s. 60s and 70s are good too. 90s are ok. Today mostly sucks.
What do you guys like?
Feel free to name some bands/songs.

I like most music. Mainly Heavy Metal. I also like a bit of Rap, Ska (70's and 80's, not the American crap today), Irish Trad Music.

I don't mind dance/hip hop and some rap like 50 Cent, Eminem, 2 Pac, Cypress Hill etc.
However alot of music from the mid 80's era i hold a soft spot for. It brings back memories of growing up, back when life was good and i didn't have a worry in the world.
*wipes sentimental tear from eye*
Ahh those were the days. ;D

I don't know why, but he never appealed to me. To each his own. Cypress Hill is awesome though.

I go through stages with my musical taste, but for quite a long time I've have been mainly into metal from '92-present. I like some older stuff, Pantera for example, but I don't know what I would do without current music. The likes of Tool and System of a Down would be my favourite bands at the moment, but there are constantly good metal bands coming out of the woodwork.

I really don't have an erra. I just like songs, if a song has a good beat and nice lyrics I will probably listen to it. A song can be from anywhere but if its good people will listen to it.
I do think that good music, trully good music has passed us by. We are too concerned with our April Lanchings and 50 cents to worry about good music instead we worry about good image. They just want to be professional popular people, not musicians.

This is one of my reasons for listening to metal... the music is about the music, not how much money they are making from it.
